Home, James!

Something happened today. I felt all muddy and frazzled because it happened.

And then I took a hold of myself and said if cracked spine guy can be positive enough to walk out of hospital on his own two feet after sustaining injuries that should have turned him into a veggie table for the rest of his life, I should be able to weather this tiny stormlet.

Deep breath.

It's going to be OK.

Deep breath.

Got told off by my boss for sending him too many SMS-es when emergency arose.

Sigh.

Deep breath.

Felt rotten.

Deep breath.

Rewrote press release and speech to suit new circumstances.

Deep breath.

It's 6.34 and I'm all done.

Home James, and don't spare the horses.

Deep breath. These things feel like little attacks. A deep breath is the best thing.

Breathing deeply now.

Hyperventilating, in fact.

Jenn, "wear the world like a loose garmet". Don't let him get to you. I think your boss is out of line...he's assuming you'll know how many SMS-es he'll want to receive! He needs better people skills. YOU are fine.

Hmmm. You may be right. You know, I merajuked (sort of threw a silent tantrum) and switched off my phone last night. The result of which was that the boss kept trying to SMS me to schedule a late meeting and couldn't get through.

Apparently he was not snapping at me. I just took it that way. I gave him a hard time about it today though. A hard time, while I was hyper efficient about sending out the press release I had rewritten.

I feel all better now.

Doesn't help that I overreact to everything.

Lucky they're all very patient with me.
