New Cars

Ivan's new car, a light blue Honda City, has arrived. He sold his Proton to Julie. The family is alive with new cars.

I think I'll paint mine red. I always wanted a red car. So what if it's not new? At least it can be red.

Pearl red.

BTW, Jackie and Simon (Simon, you there? Say hi once in a whilelar) Ivan's new number plate is Julie's birthday. That young genius suggested that they swap cars. Ivan gave a mirthless chuckle. Maggot has already marked the car but he doesn't recognise it so still barks. As does Elliot. I think they only approve of Protons. Mahathirian, no?

Red is good. Zip, zip, zooom! Uhm -- while fully awake, please.

I try to. A good thing is that I am actually sleeping when it's time to sleep. So I stay awake in the daytime.

Will wonders never cease?

I love red cars, too, Jenn. But where we are - it'd almost be cheaper to buy a new red car - than paint one!

I have owned three whole cars in my life before this most recent bucket o' rust. They were all maroon. This one is not. I am considering having it painted. Cars need to be reddish for me, too.

Jackie and HCG: What a lotta red car lovers. Am glad I'm not alone. Julie prefers black cars and Ivan, blue. My mother's car is purple. We call it, the Purple Maria.

Not as nice as your swanky SUV, nudge, nudge, wink, wink!

Oh I havent got that yet! but plans are afoot! :) My mom wants a swank sedan-kind of vehicle while I want something thats fairly close to a battle-tank on the roads :D And the argument continues...

I votes for the battle tank. With all the manic drivers over there you could use one. If you came here, you would be surprised at how sweet and civilized we lovely Malaysians are on the road. We let you cut into our lanes, smile and wave (no, no, he was not giving you the finger he was waving, and she was not baring her teeth, she was smiling, and YOU BASTARD! is actually Malay for I want you to marry my daughter)

LOL! It isnt that bad here. Ppl really take it hard when someone calls you something on the road! If someone cuts you, then you cut three other vehicles to get beside of him/her again and give them nasty glares. Intimidation works wonders here and what better vehicle than a battle-tank! :)

So scary ah you? I would only intimidate someone on the road if I had thug sitting in my car ready to shake his fists. Or her firsts. I heard yesterday about a female rugby player (she plays in the men's team) who tackles so hard the guys pass out. Now, if she were sitting in my car (and ready to unscrew some heads on request), I would happily flip the birdie at the wonderful beautiful people on the road...
