Walking in this world

So I was out for a walk today when it struck me. Runners have nice legs. Bikers have nice butts. You could call it an epiphany. As I was meditating on said revelation, a piece of eye candy ran past. He was so seriously good looking that I had to look away. I took care to look away because I think I've seen this particular eye candy before. At that time, I gaped (I didn't know I was gaping until he started to laugh). So it was imperative I look away. Otherwise he would think I found him good looking. Which I did. But you know how it is. Or maybe you don't. Anyway, a frank acknowledgement of male beauty is untenable.

(They say so and I take what they say as gospel truth though I have yet to meet them, you know what I'm saying?)

Walking in the evening is nice. Walking in the early morning is even nicer. The air is lambent, the day hasn't begun, the minds of the few but faithful out on the hilly paths, are quiet.

I like walking alone. I like walking with kindred spirits. I like walking with my iPod. Or without. I like the sound of my own thoughts. I like the sound of a friend's chatter. I love the spectacle of the baby monkeys frolicking on the trees. The sound of serious runners puffing away uphill. The smell of the trees closing in on me.

Just don't ask me to run...

I have just come to the realization that a bunch of fat ladies huffing and puffing in tune to, "Pretty Woman," can suck all the oxygen out of a room faster than the ventilation system can pump it in.

I have on occasion thrown some guys completely off kilter by looking them dead in the eye and telling quite frankly how gorgeous I thought they were. Just because I thought they were beautiful. I say, look, look, look, all you want.

I want to see monkeys when I walk in the mornings.

Quilly: Hahaha...work that body, work that body, work it, work it, feel the burn, feel the burn...guess what? I didn't sleep last night and I went for my walk today with a couple of weights. I am going to try out a sociology experiment which has to do with looking a certain way and fitting into my old bimbo costumes. That should be fun.

Nessa: If you want to see monkeys, come here because we have them in abundance. One things monkeys do well is procreate...their kids seem to be all over the place. And they are very cute.

Awww... I used to go walking to this small hill near my place. That was such a long time ago...

And baby monkeys frolicking is sure a spectacle :)

Yes, makes one feel, albeit temporarily (you gotta fight traffic on the way there and on the way back) a part of nature.

Walking in this world we do not go unpartnered...

Quilly: You are hysterical. To second Jenn, Work it, baby.

Jenn: I am getting a hankering to travel again and I am really liking the idea of seeing Malaysia. Not like next week, but it is definitely becoming a dream to be fullfilled.

Yes, I have seen some very pretty male runners...

And when I run, I get the same back from guys...

Nessa: Oh boy! That will be so cool. Come to Malaysia and see our orang utans...hehe. (We also have the proboscis monkey but that's only in Sabah which is in Borneo)

A thinker: Yes, I am sure they would look right back atcha.

I guess that's the difference between webdate.com and the Mount Kiara forest reserve where some niceties have to be observed.
