Tell me something I don't know

Moods are ephemeral.

(Yeah, and?)

They pass.

(Your point being?)

We are not defined by our moods.

(This is all very interesting. Not. So what you trying to say?)

A mood is a mood is a mood. It's fleeting. Just remember, this too shall pass.

(Bubble, bubble, toilet trouble)

Yeah, that too.

I recommend ice cream.

Jenn, I like part-time buddha's idea! Seriously, you are fortunate to be able to recognize that which is 'fleeting'. I had tunnel vision when I was younger, and never thought anything would ever pass. It's a blessing to know that it will.

Jenn, I mopped my bathroom floor the other day courtesy of my toilet. Now that was a mood! (Or was it a fit?)

of course it will. this year is passing, what's a mood?

my comment is so corny!
hope it makes you laugh, if nothing else.
i suggest you go with the buddha. he's truly the enlightened one.

Your "bubble, bubble, toilet trouble" made me laugh.

Ice cream is always a good place to start.

PTB: I had wine. It tasted of mouthwash. We can't all be so lucky.

Jackie: I am still like that. So I keep telling myself over and over that moods are ephemeral. Mainly because I'm bombastic and big words appeal to me. Lascivious. You know.

Quilly: Fits and starts. Bubbles and gurgling toilets. Of such things are dreams made.

Pinky: I didn't think it was corny your royal pinkness.

Happy New Year. Happy Happy New Year. Happy Happy Happy New Year.

Nessa: Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And Happy New Year.

Happy New Year! Of coure, what with the time differences and all, I'm a bit late -- but happy anyway!

Happy New Year, Quilly.

Happy New Year, sweet Jenn.

(And you are right...they are passing little things, those moods. The trick is to make the good ones last a bit longer than the bad ones. I am still working on it. I'll let you know if I figure out how to do this.)

HCG: I have been trying and trying to get into your site. No cigar. So I have to wish you Happy New Year here... (you know what with earthquakes and torn cables and floods and metaphors for life springing out of the heaving, burning earth)

Jackie: Same to you. I know it will be.

Thinker: Thanks. And to you. Wishes like blessings come home to roost. (I don't know what I mean by that, but I'm reading Dylan at the moment)

John: Bless you child. And Happy New Year to you too.

Grey: What can I say...Happy New Year...will catch up with you...post-Jan 13. I promise!

Praby: will see you when I get back. If I ever get back. See you when I get back...

Darlanne: Hello. Glad it resonated. Welcome to my blog.
