Just because

Prabs, this one's for you.

The long slow mourning has begun
and the air resounds
with the gentle sounds
of someone weeping.

You go creeping
into night
I watch you leave
and know I can't follow.

You were never mine
But I don't know
how to let you go.

Hi Jenn: Is this about your friend from the previous post? Whether it is or not, I'm sorry for your loss.

Nessa: No. This one's my cousin who's getting married and leaving for Germany like real soon. She is part of my inner circle. We are very happy for her, but mourning her leaving already.

Sortofanon: Huh? Who are you?

jenn just realised you have changed how u describe yourself.... the monk, the gay person, the woman who told her friend.... simply awesome

hoping you cope with your grief and can soon see it with a third person pov

Jenn, a beautiful poem to go with beautiful memories. The nature of your relationship with your cousin may change, but the love will never end.

Lemon: Yeah, being restless I keep changing the profile everytime the mood takes me. Unstable, that's what it is.

Grey: I guess you can empathise most with this, huh? I can't believe the Indian government is actually doing something so stupid. My sister Jackie said, it figures, because blogs are a way of giving alternative points of view, while the docile press simply parrots the Government's point of view. Although many of us don't even talk about politics.

Quasar: Thanks.

Nessa: Yes. I have known this all along, but it jus struck me that she is leaving for real. And in like, a short time, too.

PTB: Hug right back atcha. Thanks.

Quilly: Yeah, thanks. I know. But you know how it is when you finally have to let someone go. I have never been good at goodbyes.

Bear hug jenn...:)
the distance may change our relationship some but only in that we won't go out jogging as often or catch up for coffee or a good chat session, or a good cry or to just laugh. but we'll always be the 3K.

thanks for the lovely poem.
